My writers notebook writing about getting woken up by cats.

My thinking questions

I choose this piece to publish because... I like the piece because it has detail. I like it when I said, purrs like a chainsaw that was turned on.

I need to practise... Putting my capital letters in the right place because sometimes I get it wrong. I usually notice and fix it up.
I am pleased about... Getting to choose the piece I want to publish because I am proud of theis piece. It is awesome.

My Published Writing

  • Use a font and colour that can be easily read
  • Must make sense
  • Correct spelling
  • Correct punctuation
  • Change at least 3 words to add impact for the reader

"Arrrrrrrrr go away Bennie", Bennie my cat, purrs like a chainsaw that was turned on.  I sometimes go into my brothers room and sleep in there because Bennie keeps me awake. Then Soffie, my cat wakes me and my brother up just to get into the blankets. Annoying right?
At James's birthday spike, James' cat, woke everyone up because he was hungry. Then I heard the rattle on James's dogs collar. then spike jumped up onto the bottom of the bunk-bed that I was sleeping on and smooched me when I was awake and sitting up and I patted him and then he ran off. Then I got up and had breakfast.

Reflection Questions

I followed the Get it, Sort it, Use it inquiry process by…doing good work

My next step when I use the Get it, Sort it, Use it inquiry process is…find out more stuff about the common wealth games

The fun part of the Get it, Sort it, Use it inquiry process was…having fun making the kahoot
Logan, you used your reading skills to quickly find information to use in your kahoot. You and Jacob and Juven, were able to sort the information into questions (and answers) and then to create a kahoot for the class try out.
Remember when reflecting and thinking about your learning to add more details and go a little deeper, adding a 'because' to your ideas might help. Reflecting about your learning helps you to grow as a learner, to think about what was tricky and to set goals.
