The digestive system

Description: in science we have been learning about the digestive system.

Big idea: the digestive system is all about breaking food down so it gets processed  better.

Two stars and a wish

First star: this week I think that I have pushed myself to achieve this goal I am currently on because this goal is very challenging because I cry if things go wrong.

Second star: this goal has been very hard to achieve but I got there in the end.

Wish: the next goal I should work on is" I move with purpose and get straight on task" because I don't move with purpose.

 Description: in writing we have been learning to make conjunctions. Elly gave us three sheets one was words, sentences and ideas and on those sheet their was tally charts. If you one with lots Tally's and another one with lots of Tally's and one that doesn't have a lot of Tally's that is your goal.

                                                        THE KILLER ROBOT

In 4016 there was a inventer called Logan. One day Logan was walking on the footpath, when he saw a rusty, destroyed house.  He was curious so he opened the door, CAREEEEEK, then he tip-toed in quitely and quickly. "Oh look at that" said Logan "a robot, I could make millions if I make this thing work." he clicked the button CLICK then the button went into the robots body so he could not turn it back on again. 

"Hell-o" the robot said "DIE NOW." "HELP" a voice screamed from inside the robot ." "hold on" Logan said "I'll save you." he ran to his shed, he grabbed a bazooka, then he ran back to the house and he pulled the trigger, PEWWWWW, KA-BOOM the robot goes " I saved the day" said Logan. He ran to the boy "hello" Said the boy " my name is James" 
" i will make some epic battle amour for me and you so that you have something to cover your undies". Said Logan. " thanks" said James. So after that they became best friends and they fort The evil and they never saw the robot again. THE END

Evaluation:I think that I am good at putting in action in my and I think I should work on putting in more conjunctions at the start of my sentences.
Feedback/feedforward: I think that you did well and I loved that you added me in. I think that you could work on your writing skills like making more paragraphs James.

Description: in maths we have been learning to use addition and subtraction.

To figure out these questions i used the strategy called place value partitioning, place value partitioning is when you plus the tens first and then the ones or add one or two onto the ten to make a tidy ten

Have a sum more than 550
1) 359 +341=700
2)have a differents between 40 and 60=53
Have a sum less than 250
Have a difference more than 120

Tic tac toe reading

Description: in my reading my goal is comprehension. The book I'm reading is Captain underpants
Big idea: I used my comprehension and thought the character is Harold and some stuff about him is just like me. So in the photo those words are like me and Harold. I am learning to make connections so I know that A lot of things happen to Harold and they happen to me too.

Big idea: I've learnt connections like text to text, text to world and text to self.
I am good at text to world connections because I can make very good text to world and putting lots of detail in my connections.

Success criteria: 
Put a picture in the readers mind 
Use text to text, text to world and text to self 
Save some evidence of learning
